This policy explains how The Ick: Date Night and this website handle information. The game is operated by Stephen Lang.

Game progress stays on your device

The game stores scores, XP, Hearts, venue progress, cosmetic selections, settings, and purchase-delivery records on your device. It has no player account, chat, user uploads, or developer-operated cloud save service. We do not receive your saved gameplay profile through a game server.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases. The game uses StoreKit to check purchase status, restore permanent purchases, and deliver purchased Hearts. We do not receive your full payment-card information. Apple handles transaction records under its own privacy policy.

Advertising and consent

The game uses Google AdMob to display non-personalized ads only and Google’s User Messaging Platform to manage consent choices where required. Ad personalization and publisher first-party identifiers are disabled in the game. Depending on your choices, device settings, and the advertising service, Google may process IP addresses and approximate location, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, product interactions, crash information, and performance information for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation.

The game does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or precise GPS location. It does not currently request Apple’s tracking permission or access to the advertising identifier through that permission.

Where available, select Ad privacy choices in the Shop to review or change your consent. Purchasing Remove Ads hides in-game advertising; it does not delete information previously processed by an advertising provider. Learn more from Google’s privacy policy and Google’s advertising information.

This website

This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics scripts, sign-in, or a mailing list. Our hosting providers may process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps to deliver and protect the site. Links to other services are governed by those services’ policies.

Support messages

If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and troubleshoot problems. Please avoid sending sensitive information. We retain support correspondence only as needed to resolve requests, maintain relevant records, and meet applicable obligations.

Your choices

You can change game settings in the app and manage purchases through Apple. Deleting the app may remove device-local progress; purchase records held by Apple are separate. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of support information we hold. Rights concerning advertising-provider data can also be exercised through that provider’s privacy controls. Available rights depend on where you live.

Children

The game contains dating humor and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through support. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
